However, as we go through life, with all its unseen challenges, our hearts tend to get guarded, bruised and a bit muddied along the way. The invitation is to give our tender hearts a nurturing space so we can come closer into connection - with ourselves, with others, with the wider world. As we continue to turn towards our natural capacity for kindness, compassion, shared joy and a steady presence - we familiarize ourselves with those sweet places until they begin to feel like home.

*These practices are open to all levels; no matter where you are on your journey, they are sure to have a positive impact on one's life. Embark on a transformative journey with our four-month yoga series dedicated to understanding and overcoming the three malas: Anava Mala, Mayiya Mala, and Karma Mala. Each month, we will dive deep into one of these concepts, using yoga to clear mental and emotional obstacles, culminating in a comprehensive integration in September.

June: Anava Mala (The Veil of Smallness)
Theme: Overcoming Self-Doubt and Embracing Self-Worth Description: This month focuses on Anava Mala, the veil that obscures our true potential and makes us feel small or inadequate. Key Practices: • Heart-opening sequences • Grounding and centering asanas • Affirmations for self-love and confidence • Meditation on worthiness

July: Mayiya Mala (The Veil of Illusion) Theme: Dispelling Illusions and Gaining Clarity Description: In July, we will tackle Mayiya Mala, the veil of illusion that distorts our perception of reality. LIVE STREAM Introduction to Ayurvedic Nutrition $20 per class A credit card is required to enroll but isn't charged until the time of service.

Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing and is a sister science to yoga. Ayurveda offers the secrets to health and longevity by providing the guidelines to live in harmony with nature through daily routines, seasonal diets, herbs, and lifestyle. Ayurvedic medicine is based on the notion that poor nutrition is the main cause of disease. Food can also be the most powerful medicine in providing adequate nutrition and nourishment. Ayurvedic nutrition is an individualized approach to the diet, based on one's constitutional make-up and current health status.
In Ayurvedic medicine, food is central to life, and life is, in essence, a continual search for food. The one-size-fits-all approach to diet doesn't work according to Ayurvedic nutrition since different people have unique nutritional, physical, psychological and physiological needs for nourishment. The old saying "one man's food is another man's poison" holds true in Ayurvedic nutrition since individual food choices can bring health or illness depending on one's unique body type.
Join Erika in learning about this wonderful system of medicine.
