Yoga Nidra is a Powerful Practice that does not require any physical movement, or activity. Lying Still on your Mat you will experience a Full Guided Body Scan, inviting an experience of awareness throughout your entire body. There is “Nothing to Do” … but sense & feel (and breathe).

Though Yoga Nidra is translated as "yogic sleep," this method is not really about getting a good snooze. Guided by a teacher's voice, you identify sensations throughout your body and focus on your breath.

This class will use the application of an alignment yoga practice to address students’ specific health and physical challenges that may not normally be addressed in a group class. The goal is to alleviate or reduce symptoms such as pain and muscle tension and stiffness, and also work proactively to restore balance in the body by using presence and awareness as techniques for healing.

The class will maintain a slower pace and have a primary focus on using props such as chairs, straps, and blocks, to allow all students to access the benefits of various asanas, with modifications for any physical limitations. The goal is to increase range of motion, build strength and flexibility, and work with the specific challenges of each student. The class content will be determined largely by the individuals participating in the class.

Please note that this class is not a substitute for medical care and oversight of an injury or illness. Students should have the approval from their physician to participate in a group exercise class.

Cancellation Policy: Tuition is non-refundable at time of purchase, but may be credited towards a future event with Wild Abundant Life within 1 year of original program dates.

Transfer Policy: If you are moving from one module to another set of dates less than 30 Days Prior to the program start, there is a $125 fee to transfer dates. This will apply to any module you move to a new location / dates and will be paid to the original host location.

Yoga for Warriors - An Introduction to Yoga for Men Free

Designed for men of all ages, shapes, and abilities! Try out yoga in a safe, non-competitive environment.

Cost: cash/check donation-based (pay whatever amount you feel is appropriate when you arrive to class)

Vinyasa I/Alignment Donation Class Free

This 90-minute donation-based class will benefit those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The class will be a combination of Vinyasa I and Alignment Yoga. All proceeds collected will be directed to two local organizations in the Houston area - the Houston Food Bank and the Houston SPCA (to help our four-legged friends as well.) There is no fee for the class, but please share what you can to help the people of Houston rebound from this extreme situation. All levels are welcome!
